Assisting Rural and Volunteer EMS Agencies With Education, Leadership, Marketing, Recruitment, and Retention of Personnel

Our Mission

  •  News outlets and local report daily about EMS -and particularly  volunteer EMS- is in crisis.
From declining tax revenues and other funding obstacles to challenges in recruitment and retention, pundits and industry leaders insist that volunteer EMS will soon be a relic of the past.

Yet, as much as  60% of EMS care and 70-80% of fire service  in the United States is still provided by volunteers.

The fact is-Worldwide, including in the US, interest in volunteering  is at an all time high.

70- 90% of Americans polled say they would like to volunteer somewhere if they only knew where or how to get involved.

Yet- somehow, EMS has been able to attract  few of these potential recruits.

We need to fix that.

Volunteerism has always been at the heart of American civil society. In many areas of the country with  rural populations, low call volumes  and lack of funding means the ONLY EMS response is likely to be from dedicated volunteer EMR.EMT, and Fire Service  First Responders.

MEDIC Training Solutions is dedicated to  helping your volunteer EMS agency  attract new members, prove value to your community ,regain  a positive outlook, attain clinical excellence and plan for  financial sustainability in the future.
